What sort of maze game do you want? Pacman seems an obvious sort of game to me, but fill in the gaps and I'll try and help!

If you don't know much, it's unlikely someone's going to want to be burdened with what would be an enormous task...try being less honest on the next forum post...  :-D

Isn't the VisualBasicZone founder a member of the RPGWO admin team?

Another thing that the MSDN library wasn't too clear on when I searched; after scouring the Internet and rejecting the huge functions, I found this very easy method:

dec=val("&h" & hex)

I tried a similar approach, but managed to forget to add the "&h" first!

I'm assuming that wouldn't in anyway infringe upon the copyright of the original software package author/EULA...naturally.

Visual Basic (5/6) / VB Browser Object: 2 queries.
« on: November 24, 2005, 07:08:21 am »
Two basic problems which I can't find a reliable way to solve;

Firstly, when I use 'WebBrowserObject.GoBack', which works fine on the default navigation toolbar, but when I try it on a separate command button and presss it with no page to go back to, the application crashes. Any ideas here? It must be simple, just can't find it in help/sample files!

Secondly, does anybody know how to find whether a web page is secure without using coolbars/status bars? There's an event for the browser object called SetSecureLockIcon, but can't work out the format it's needed in!

Any help would be appreciated here!

Thanks,

Intrigue

Sorry about the delay in reply.

I can send you some artwork if you like, but I'm a little swamped at the moment with other projects. I do have a lot of library art, although most of it is probably not helpful if you need wizards etc.

My strengths are wall tiles and item tiles...I'm still perfecting my techniquie for characters!

General Chat / Making a game and don't have a website? A solution!
« on: October 26, 2005, 09:52:03 am »
Hi!

If you're making a game and want a dedicated site to display information and progress, here's a proposition for you!

There are no catches; it's free- and the only adverts are internal banner adverts or adverts to relevant sites. We get more traffic, you get your own space.

Obviously intriguegames would have the final say over any content, but we would also edit any content for you (correcting mistakes etc). You don't need a transfer program; just send intriguegames your content (in a Word document or other agreed file format) and we'll add it as soon as it's been checked and formatted!

Please feel free to take a look at the site before you email me- it's in the process of an update but most content is there now!

email minisites@intriguegames.com (subject as 'Website', please).

Regards,

Intrigue

Hi,

Could 'Christopher' who emailed me before RE testing positions please contact me again or leave a message on this board please?

I can read emails you send, but when I reply I get an error from a server!

Thanks,

Hi,

Please could Chris, who contacted me earlier RE testing, email me from a different email address, please?

Your AOL server or my email server seems to be faulty!

Thanks!
