I don't know if you are familiar with the late 90s game Enemy Nations... But the creator recently released the source code (which weighs in at a hefty 891meg packed! Lots of graphics.

The install package/game itself RARs in at somewhere around 300megs. ). Anyhow the semi-casual plan was to reconstitute the game (validating the project snapshot), and go from there on to other more exciting things.
The original plan was to get a project going on SourceForge. Unfortunately, the guidelines at SF would require the owner to basically relinquish all rights to the game (even the name!).
Is hosting this project something that you would be able to do/interests you? Judging by the number of people that have BitTorrented the project, interest seems farily high. If so, here is the link.
http://www.windward.net/forums/category.jspa?categoryID=3I believe 'Source code is available' is the most recent discussion.
Also to maybe get a handle of what you might be looking at worst case bandwidth wise...
